Taylor-Joy explains that moving into London was difficult and she was unable to take the time to learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was forced to change schools. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school plays. When she was 16 she left school to make a career of acting. From a young age Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to work as an actress. her dreams came true when she received a modeling contract from Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
