Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a well-known American actress and singer. Her parents are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. Bell was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her family ancestry includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish as well as Scottish (father). Kristen realized her potential in the world of entertainment in her early years. She attended her audition in 1992 and was offered the role of Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell's mom introduced her to an agent before she was 13, and she got her first role for television and newspaper commercials. Also, Bell began taking classes in acting privately. Bell played an uncredited part on Polish Wedding (1998), an upcoming film. Bell participated in the Drama and Music Club in Shrine Catholic High School. The school's stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. Following graduation, Bell relocated into New York City to attend prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where she learned about musical theatre. Bell graduated from her college in 2001 after she took the role of Becky to play Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credit in Pootie Tang in 2001. However, her scene, was trimmed and now her only appearance is in the end credits. Bell was seen together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
